Dilemma's & Decision's

So, as many of you know I have been selling Scenty for about a year & a half. While I love the product, business, people who I work with, etc. I just do not know what to do.

When I signed up I had NO intentions of making a "big business" out of it. I wanted to keep it small & enjoyable. I do not like being away from the boys much. I did not want to get burnt out by doing too many parties. I have had some good show & I have made good money, but my heart just isn't into it much anymore. Every Linda, Louise, Laura & Lisa sell it here locally. I am NOT one for competion when it comes to business, I don't need money or business THAT bad. I kind of feel like I am burnt out on it. It seems like I scrounge to find a qualifying order to place for my 3 month deadline.

I have a few loyal customers that order online. They are really the only reason I have contiuned to sell it. I do have a great friend that they could order through the same way they do me (The same person I will order through). I just don't know what to do, I could really use a little input & advice...

Basically what the heck would you do??? AND let's be realistic!

Oh and I am due to have the baby at the end of May. I am seriously going to have NO time for anything for a long time.

I ALSO have a post coming to update everyone on the baby!!!

And PLEASE people I really need some input on this issue. I have been stuck for some while & I need to decide. I need to get on the bandwagon & ride or get off. I only have until May to decide, since the baby will be here then.

25 Weeks!

Hola!!! from the Frozen Tundra!

We have been snowed in for the last 2 weeks, my poor poor sanity. It has been crazy around here, nesting is making an appearance & things are getting cleaned & organized. I have had cabin fever like crazy. It's amazing how I can stay home everyday all day & not go stir crazy, but the fact that I cannot get out in the snow & ice makes me silly!

We had our monthly doctors appointment yesterday & little miss looks wonderful!!! I had another glucose test done as well. I need to call tomorrow & find out how I did. The boys are also doing wonderful! We beat the cold that we had a few weeks ago & are back to are wild selves. Brily did have to go to the doctor a few weeks ago, poor little man is anemic. We now have to give him iron 2 times a day & push iron rich foods [okay doc *rolls eyes*]

Please excuse the messy pony, no make-up, nasty pregnancy pimple face, non-maternity sweater & bathroom self photo. I do what I can :)

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far along: 25 weeks

Size of the baby: Egg plant 13.6-14.8 inches, 1.5-2.2 lb.

Total Gain/Loss: 4 pounds

Maternity Clothes: I do wear them because they are comfortable but I still have normal [read:old fat jeans] that still fit.

Gender: It's a Girl!!

Movement: Still kicking like crazy, she has her own schedule already. She wakes about every 4 hours. Every night at midnight she go absolutely nuts! I'm afraid she'll be a night owl like her mommy.

Sleep: Good, I woke up one morning on my stomach. It shocked me, poor baby!

Cravings: Nothing in particular, I did get Oriental House tonight so I guess I don't have a reason to have a craving. :)

Thank heaven it is suppose to warm up! Monday is suppose to be in the 60's HOORAY! My next appointment is on the 10th of March & we will get to peek at my best girl again! We need to get a good accurate size to know when to schedule the C-Section.

Also- this week has had it's up's & down's, my friend/neighbor from elementary school found out she was expecting & my friend from high school lost her baby. It's all so hard to process, I will be praying for both of them. Also, Jakes cousin who lost her baby a while back found out today that she is expecting a little boy! I am so excited for them asw well.

Until next time... ALL my love,
Whitney

If you never read a post, PLEASE read this one!

I have been so lucky through out my pregnancies. I have had my share of complications but in the end I was rewarded with healthy babies. My babies never struggled to breathe, I never looked into their isolettes wishing I could hold them. I never wondered if my baby would make it through the night. More things in life that I have taken for granted.

My dear, sweet, strong friend Stephanie from 'The Leaky Sippy' hasn't been as lucky. She has experienced preterm labor & bed rest. I'm sure she's laid in hospital bed hoping & praying that the doctors will stop the labor. Possibly laid with uncertainity of what the future holds for her & her baby. Until today, when I read her post, I had no idea that she had experienced what I would consider one of th greatest losses in life. Her sweet son was born into the arms of Jesus at 17.5 weeks.

Even with all of her struggles & loss, she is one of the strongest women I know [yet to meet]. She is a awesome mother & adores her sweet babies, although her daughters are not quite babies anymore. She is not a mother who sits & wallows in the pity, she doesn't play the victim card like a lot of women/bloggers who have lost babies do. She's getting out there to help other babies & mothers. She nothing short of amazing.

This year she has decided to participate in the 'March for Babies.' She is marching for her sweet son who was too little to fight. She is marching so that other babies who are born too early & are very sick, will have every chance to fight. Marching so no other mother has to experience the hurt of losing a baby.

Will you help? Will you forgo your starbucks this morning & donate? Will you wait a week for that new purse & donate? Every dollar counts, every dollar makes a difference.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.

Head over to her blog & read her very inspiring story, if you can & feel led give a dollar or ten. Help spread the word for babies who are not strong enough to. Thank you all so much!

23 Weeks!

Hello Everyone!

I am sorry I have been slacking when it comes to blogging, but I have had my butt in a chair in front of my sewing machine for the past week and a half. You might have already seen on Facebook & Twitter that I opened up a new Big Cartel shop. I am selling nifty little DSLR camera strap covers. Eventually I will have other products but for right now that's it.

Here is one of my favorites so far:

I wanted to do a baby update, more for myself to remember but none the less an update.

I don't really feel like taking a picture. I'm not growing that much so once I get further along I will post more pictures. :)

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far along: 23 weeks [as of last Thursday]

Size of the baby: A Papaya 10.5-11.8 in, 12.7-20.8 oz

Total Gain/Loss: Still just 1 pound

Maternity Clothes: I do wear them because they are comfortable but I still have normal [read:old fat jeans] that still fit.

Gender: It's a Girl!!
I've been calling her Lady Bug or Miss America Hah!

Movement: She is kicking HARD! She goes crazy if her bubby's come around. She also already has a schedule. It's too funny, I can predict it! Every night at Midnight she wakes up & goes crazy, then 4 am & 7 am. She sleeps a lot during the day & the kicks around in the evening. She kicks RIGHT on my bladder, she does NOT like a full bladder.

Sleep: Not to shabby this week

Cravings: This week it's been Taco Bell's Mexican Pizza & anything healthy. Salad, Smoothies, Veggies etc.

Thank you guys for reading & hanging around. I really appreciate it! Also.... I would love for you to hop on over to my shop & look around. I will be adding lots more in the next week or so. I also have a fancy blog button up top that you can put on YOUR blog if you love me :)

I cannot even express my thanks to Neely, she is totally amazing!!! She is also super patient with me & my constant requests. I love her!

Something up my sleeve....

So, Like I said I have a little something up my sleeve.
I cannot wait to share it with y'all.
Until then you will just have patiently wait. :)
I really need to get this ball rolling before Baby N gets here.
So, I am going to be busy, busy, busy!!!!

I have enlisted the help of some great people to help a sister out!

@kneeleigh is going to help me out with the beautification of this project.
Y'all she's good, I wish she did more of it, like for moolah.

And @theleakysippy she is going to help me get my foot in the door with the right
people, including herself. :)

Once I have all my T's crossed & I's dotted I will fill you in...

UNTIL then, I would really appreciate all the prayers I can get.
And pray for those that are helping me, I don't want them to hate or kill me :)

All my love,
Whit

5 Random Ramblings

So one of my very best gals, The Leaky Sippy [Steph] that I met on twitter is having a fun little link-a-doo of 5 Random Ramblings. Knowing me this will be random indeed!

Some of this stuff people know and maybe I'll throw a random surprise in there :)

  • I always cover my nose & mouth when I change the boys dirty diapers. I hope they don't grow up all dysfunctional because there mother couldn't handle the smell of their stench. I also cannot handle other people kids spit-up. I have had the boys' in my mouth, but if it is someone else's kid it makes me want to vomit.
  • I use to be able to curl up my toes and walk on them. It is almost like some kids walk on their tippy toes, I walked on my toes curled up. I can also, if my sinuses are clear shoot tears/water from my tear ducts. I use to chase my brother & mother tormenting them. Yes, I am a freak!
  • I absolutely despise my nose being touched. I have hurt it badly [possibly broken] twice, once I was elbowed in the nose playing tag & the other time I face planted on a metal slide. If my husband wants to get a rise out of me he will grab my nose and squeeze it, I could divorce him for it too! It is so bad that once when the J was little, his head was all wobbly & he headbutted me in the nose. It makes me so angry that I had to give J to his daddy & walk away. I know he didn't mean to, he was a little baby, but I cannot control it. So for future reference Don't Touch My NOSE!!!
  • I can remember the exact time we conceived all 3 of our children. I just kind of knew & was always right. This one may or may not have been conceived on a boat. [I hope my mother isn't reading this, I might die of embarrassment] That is why someone has suggested we name her Sailor.
  • I was threatened my Senior year that if I didn't quit skipping 1st hour, I would not get to walk at graduation. I didn't need the credit & loved the extra sleep. I didn't need any of the credits from the 2 nd semester of Senior year & they wouldn't let me [or anyone unless you were pregnant] graduate early. Needless to say I was a huge pain in the ass for my teacher. I would fall asleep during lectures, NEVER turn in my work & basically blew the entire 5 months off. More than one teacher warned me that I would regret it... Well I don't. I could not have missed out in Chior, Life time sports, Journalism, Applied Communication arts & being an Aid.
Well there they are, 5 Random Ramblings! So head on over to The Leaky Sippy & link up your randoms as well. And please, PLEASE never use these things against me. :)

21 Weeks!

I think I say this every week but this pregnancy is flying by. It makes me sad to think that this will be the last little baby to reside in my tummy & solely relying on it's Momma for everything. As many of you already know we found out Thursday that we are indeed having a little GIRL!!!
I no longer feel guilty when I say "she" afraid that it might really be a "he" in there. NOPE! She was proud of her little business, she wanted to let everyone know "she" was there.

I am so thankful that I was able to share the ultrasound with some very important [to me] people. Of course Daddy was there, big brothers, Grandma Vicki & Nina were able to come. Also Aunt Stephy was able to take a late lunch to join us. We were sad that Aunt Kay Kay was busy & Aunt Sayda [Kayla] had started her new job.

I didn't take a weekly picture of my belly. I don't really think it grows that much in one week when you are only 20 some weeks along. So, lucky you, here she is Miss America 2032!

It's not the greatest Ultrasound picture but we only got 4 little bitty pictures crammed on a 4x5 photo. She is weighing in at a whopping 12 ounces. My doctor said that she looks petite unlike her monstrous brother ;) I do have an anterior placenta, doctor also said it might be another 10 weeks before we are able to feel her kick on the outside. I do feel her a lot more now, she is master the art of River Dance on my bladder.
Just last night Brily fell & hurt himself, he came crying to his Momma. His sweet baby sister did NOT like that her brother was crying. She immediately started kicking like crazy & did until her brother calmed down.

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far along: 21 weeks [as of last Thursday]
Size of the baby: A banana [Brother's favorite!] 12.7 ounces & 10.5 inches

Total Gain/Loss: Still just 1 pound

Maternity Clothes: I do wear them because they are comfortable but I still have normal [read:old fat jeans] that still fit.

Gender: It's a Girl!!
We are planning to keep the name under wraps for a while until we are dead SET on a name. Nothing more annoys me then people's two cents on my child's name. Uh, I am carrying it 9 months, delivering it & caring for it.... I'LL NAME IT WHAT I PLEASE :) //End rant//

Movement: Miss America is working on her River Dance talent as I type.
Just stay away from those sweaty shirtless men baby girl & you'll be fine.

Sleep: Not to shabby this week

Cravings: Orange Juice!!!

Question: I know when they say that you crave crazy things like dirt, ashes, etc. that you are lacking a sort of nutrient. I seriously crave O.J. like a ravenous animal after its prey. I get sooo irritable if I do not have any O.J. So, question, could I be lacking Vitamin C or Folic Acid to cause this craving?? I take 800 mg of Folic Acid daily & obviously get a lot of vitamin C since I am drinking almost a 1/2 a gallon of O.J. a day!

Over all I feel GREAT! I am so thankful to be over the morning sickness & migraines for the most part. I have gotten a minor headache twice, but didn't even need to take anything for it.

After our ultrasound on Thursday we HAD to stop at Kohl's and pick up something pink up. Well we got a thing or two, her Grandma Vicki will be a spoiling machine with her too. [She already spoils the boys rotten. Just today she brought a whole trunk of dress up clothes over. So today we have been Astro boy, Pirate, Zurg, Magician, Astronaut. There are still 3 or 4 more that they haven't put on.]
